Sheffield United winger Andre Brooks has joined Championship rivals Norwich City for a substantial undisclosed fee.
What happened?
The 22-year-old winger was one of United's better performers in an inconsistent season, with Chris Wilder hailing his 'outstanding season'. Brooks played 20 times in the Premier League and then played a major role as United reached the Championship play-off final in May 2025.
Why it matters for Sheffield United
The Blades will be looking to replace Brooks' contributions, having netted six times in 41 appearances in all competitions last season. He also received international recognition after being capped by Jamaica in March 2026.
What comes next?
Brooks said: 'I'm absolutely ready for the challenge ahead. Speaking to the gaffer and all of the staff, their ambitions and goals for the season really appealed to me.' Norwich sporting director Ben Knapper added: 'He is an extremely exciting and talented player and is somebody that we feel fits us fantastically.' | Stat | Value | | --- | --- | | Fee | Undisclosed | | Appearances for Sheffield United | 41 | | Goals for Sheffield United | 6
