Sheffield United's early season has been marked by a worrying lack of goals. Despite creating chances, the team has yet to find the back of the net in the league. In their opening two games, they managed just one shot on target against Birmingham and two on target against Swansea, both of which ended in 0-0 draws. The Blades were somewhat improved in Wales, with more chances created, but they still never looked clinical in front of goal. The end of the transfer window looms, an opportunity for all clubs to add some attacking flair to their squads. But for Sheffield United, it is an arbitrary deadline.
